Grade the picture with looks and LUTs
Looks puts a live grade on the picture: lift, gamma and gain wheels, temperature, tint, saturation, brightness and contrast, plus an imported LUT. The grade shows as you frame and is burned into stills and takes. Save it as a named look to bring it back later.

Build a look
- Tap Looks among the tools at the top of the viewfinder.
- Turn the look on with the switch at the top. Off, the picture passes through ungraded.
- Drag in the Lift, Gamma and Gain wheels to push the shadows, midtones and highlights. Double-tap a wheel to put it back to neutral.
- Under Trim, set saturation, brightness, contrast, temperature and tint.
- Under LUT, pick an imported LUT, or None for no LUT.
Import a LUT
- Import .cube / .acv opens Files. A .cube must be a 3D LUT, up to 128 points a side; one larger than 64 is resampled to 64 and marked RESAMPLED. 1D LUTs are not supported. A Photoshop .acv curves file works too.
- Import Image takes a LUT saved as a picture: a 512×512 HALD or tiled LUT, or the same cube as a strip.
Imported LUTs stay on the device. Deleting one removes its file and takes it off every look that uses it.
Save and recall
Tap + Save and name the look. Saving over an existing name replaces it. Tap a saved look to put it back. Press and hold a saved look to overwrite it with the grade on screen, rename it or delete it. Reset All puts every control back to neutral, with Undo straight after.
A look's name goes into the burned-in info strip as Look: and the name.
If that didn't work
If a file will not import, the panel says why in a banner; see a LUT or curves file will not import. If the picture looks wrong before any grade, check the phone camera's white balance in the manual controls.
