My camera or lens isn't in the list

Add it yourself as custom gear today, and ask us to add it with Request a camera or lens. New gear in the built-in list arrives with app updates.

The built-in list held 722 cameras, 2,309 recording modes and 3,926 lenses on November 2, 2026. You can search it on the Cameras and lenses page.

1. Search the camera picker by brand, model or format first. Some cameras are listed under the maker's own name for them.
2. If it is missing, choose Request a camera or lens. It is in the camera picker, the lens kit builder and Settings, About.
3. A mail opens to [email protected] with the app and gear database versions filled in. Add a link to the maker's specification page and send it.
4. In the meantime, add it as custom gear so you can frame with it today.

If that didn't work

If no mail app is set up on the device, write to [email protected] with the camera or lens name and the maker's specification page. The version numbers are in Settings, About.
