One price, the whole app
Cutvey Viewfinder is free to download and locked until you buy it. The purchase is $19.99, once in the US (the App Store shows the price in your own currency), and it opens everything: every camera, recording mode and lens in the gear list, frame lines, anamorphic, vertical, Overview, depth of field, the sun path, looks, stand-in figures, stills, takes, the gallery, PDF shot lists, the clean feed to a monitor or AirPlay screen and the Apple Watch remote. There are no tiers, no feature you pay for later and no subscription to keep up.
One purchase covers your iPhone and your iPad, signed in to the same Apple Account. The Apple Watch app comes inside the iPhone app and needs no purchase of its own.
What the locked screen offers
When you open the app for the first time, after the agreement screen, it shows three choices and nothing else:

A purchase does not depend on a Cutvey membership. It is tied to your Apple Account, and it stays yours whatever happens to any workspace.
Included with a Cutvey plan
If your production company runs on Cutvey, the app is already included for the people on the plan. It is counted per seat:

Each person signs in with the same email and code they use for Cutvey, and their activation covers up to three of their own devices. The app keeps working offline for up to seven days at a time, then checks in again when it has a signal. It is not included with the free crew account, a crew seat or an archived seat. If a membership ends, the app locks again; a person who also bought it is not affected.

Moving to a new phone
Your purchase moves with your Apple Account: open the app on the new phone and tap Restore Purchase. A Cutvey sign-in is kept on each device, so sign in again on the new one. Your shots do not move by themselves, because the shot library stays on the device and is kept out of iCloud and computer backups. Save them to Photos or share them before you switch. Questions
Is Cutvey Viewfinder a subscription?
No. The purchase is $19.99, once, through the App Store. A Cutvey plan can include it too, but nobody needs a plan to use the app.
Is there a free version?
The app is free to download so you can see it on your device, and it is locked until you buy it or sign in with Cutvey. The free tools on this site run on the same gear list and cost nothing.
Does one purchase cover my iPad and Apple Watch?
Yes. One purchase covers iPhone and iPad on the same Apple Account, and the Apple Watch remote comes with the iPhone app.
Can my family use my purchase?
The purchase is not shared with Family Sharing. Each Apple Account buys its own, or the person signs in through a Cutvey workspace.
What happens if I lose my signal?
A purchase keeps working with no further charge. A Cutvey sign-in works for up to seven days offline, then needs to check in.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: ask Apple from your App Store purchase history.
Do I get new cameras and lenses?
New gear arrives with app updates from the App Store. If a camera or lens you use is missing, request it from inside the app.
