Use Viewfinder on iPad
The same app and the same purchase run on iPad, with panels docked beside the picture. Viewfinder keeps one viewfinder window: a second window shows a note and a Close This Window button.
One purchase covers your iPhone and your iPad on the same Apple Account; on the iPad, tap Restore Purchase. A Cutvey membership's iPhone and iPad share one activation when they use the same Apple Account.

What is different
- Panels such as depth of field dock beside the picture, so the frame stays in view while you work. On a 13-inch iPad the type is larger.
- Most iPads have no ultra wide camera, so a wide lens shows the band more often, and the capsule says "Beyond this iPad". A clip-on converter goes under iPad Attachment.
- A hardware keyboard adds a Camera menu of shortcuts.
- Vertical works as on an iPhone: Settings, Orientation.
- There is no Apple Watch remote on iPad, so its section is not in Settings.
One window
The camera works in one window at a time. If iPadOS opens a second window of Viewfinder, it says the app is open in another window. Use the other window, or tap Close This Window.
If that didn't work
The camera is not available while other apps share the screen means iPadOS has paused the camera while another app is on screen beside it. Make Viewfinder full screen and the picture comes back.
