Save a setup as a favorite and switch in one tap

A favorite stores the camera, mode, aspect, lens kit and adapters exactly as they are now. Save one from Setup or from the viewfinder's Favorites card, then tap it to put the whole rig back in one go.

Favorites suit a job with two bodies, or a DP who scouts for more than one show: build each rig once and swap between them on the day.

Save a favorite

  1. Set the camera, mode, aspect, kit and any adapters the way you want them.
  2. Tap FAVORITES above the lens rail, then Save Current Setup. In Setup, the same button is the Save Current chip on the Favorites row.
  3. Give it a name and tap Save.

Switch to a favorite

  1. Tap FAVORITES above the lens rail. A card lists your favorites, each with what it would change: the camera, the aspect, how many primes or zooms, an adapter or a clip-on.
  2. Tap one. The camera, mode, aspect, kit and adapters all change together.

In Setup, the Favorites row has a chip for each favorite that does the same.

Rename, reorder or delete

Tap Manage in Setup at the bottom of the card, or All Favorites in Setup. Deleting a favorite removes only the favorite; the camera, lenses and shots stay as they are.

A Mixed badge beside a favorite means its kit holds lenses from more than one series.

If that didn't work

A favorite marked Camera not installed used a custom camera that has since been deleted, so it cannot be applied. Build the setup again and save it over. Reset Setup, under More in Setup, puts the current setup back to the factory default and keeps your favorites and custom gear.
