Add your own camera or lens series
Open Setup, go to the camera or lens picker and use the Custom section to add a camera by its mode sizes or a lens series by its focal lengths. It then works like a built-in one.
- Tap the strip at the top of the viewfinder to open Setup.
- For a body, open the camera picker and choose New Custom Camera. Give each recording mode its width and height in millimeters, or tap Copy Mode from Library to start from a mode of a camera already in the list and adjust it. Turn on Anamorphic gate for a mode made for anamorphic glass.
- For glass, open the lens picker and add a custom lens series: primes or zooms, the focal lengths, the squeeze and the image circle.
- Give single lenses a name if it helps, such as "the hero 50".
Custom gear is kept on the device only, and it is listed under Custom Gear in Setup, where you can edit or delete it. Values that cannot be real are refused, so a typo does not quietly bend the frame.
Deleting a custom camera stops the favorites that use it from applying, and the dialog says how many. Deleting a custom lens series takes its lenses out of the current kit and out of any favorite that holds them.
If that didn't work
Check the mode size against the maker's page: use the size of the mode you record, not the sensor's total size. Then tell us about the camera so it can join the built-in list.
