Send a PDF shot list to the crew

In Shots, open the project or scene and choose Export PDF. Pick Frames Only, Basic or Full, the paper size, then share it like any file.

1. Open Shots from the viewfinder and go to Projects.
2. Open a project (or a scene inside it) and choose Export PDF from its menu.
3. Pick the depth:
   • Frames Only: a landscape contact sheet, 12 frames a page.
   • Basic: two shots a page with camera, mode, lens and notes.
   • Full: one shot a page, adding time, GPS, bearing, a map code and a tappable Apple Maps link.
4. Choose US Letter or A4, then send it with AirDrop, Mail, Files or any app in the share sheet.

A single shot has Export Shot List in its share menu too. For what a good shot list carries, see the shot list template. The PDF prints the names as they were when the shot was taken, so renaming gear later does not change an old shot list.

If that didn't work

If the export fails, export one scene at a time from the scene page's menu. If that fails too, write to us with the number of shots in the project.
